  The cast vulcanizer plate is used to place the model of the vulcanized product, and the pressure is transmitted to the model through the plate to heat the model. The vulcanizer plate moves in the guide rail. Under the action of the pin plug, the upper stroke of the plate is not restricted, and the upper plate can be directly reached. The downstroke is limited. Therefore, a positioning stopper is installed on the guide rail to determine the lower limit position of each plate, and at the same time, the distance between the plates is ensured so that the product model can be placed.

Casting Vulcanizer

  Cast vulcanizer plates are made of cast iron or steel, which have high strength and precise dimensions. For heating, channels are opened in the plate to supply the heating medium (steam) or to install electric heating elements.

  Electric heating is a more advanced and reliable method. The heating uniformity of the flat plate of the casting vulcanizer (uniform temperature in the middle and edge of the flat plate) is a very important performance of the flat vulcanizing machine, which can determine the quality of the finished product. When placing the heater in the plate, it is necessary to take into account that a uniform temperature field can be formed, and the temperature difference between the surface of the plate should not exceed ±12°C.

  Research work on induction heating of cast vulcanizer plates is currently underway. The induction heating system ensures greater softness in temperature regulation and uniformity of flat heating.

  The steam heating casting vulcanizer plate should be equipped with input steam and condensate discharge piping system. All pipelines have special sealing devices to ensure that the sealing of the input steam will not be damaged when the camp road moves with the plate. When the number of flat layers is large, the steam line takes up a lot of space and makes the maintenance of the curing press difficult.
